Overview

Human Resources is committed to helping the City of Riverdale provide world-class service to our customers through our people by recruiting, training, and retaining a diverse, high-quality workforce. As a team, we strive to provide effective service and vital information to employees, retirees, and the public with compassion, dignity, and respect in a fair and equitable manner. Serving as a central source, our goal is to foster an environment for employees to succeed, develop, and enhance their careers with equal opportunity for all. This division is responsible for recruitment, employment, compensation, benefits, health and safety, training and development, classification, placement, and records.

E-verify

On January 1, 2010, all cities that are required to participate in E-verify* must permanently post their federally issued user identification number and date of authorization on their website. Covered cities that do not maintain a website must annually publish the identification number and date of authorization in the legal organ for the county.

(*O.C.G.A. Section 13-10-91 requires that all public employers register and participate with E-verify).

The City of Riverdale participates in E-Verify.
